With over 20 years of experience spanning government regulatory agencies, Indigenous consultation, and strategic planning, Donna brings deep expertise in navigating complex provincial and federal regulatory processes.

Donna spent 16 years in Crown consultation and regulatory review, including 8 years as a Senior Social Scientist with the Alberta Energy Regulator, where she developed extensive knowledge of oil, gas, coal, and forestry regulation, environmental assessment processes, and the duty to consult. She also served 3 years as a Senior Business Advisor with Western Economic Diversification, Indigenous Services Canada, and 5 years with the Manitoba government, supporting Indigenous community and economic development, federal-provincial policy initiatives, and strategic initiatives.

This foundation, combined with her First Nations lived experience and academic training, positions Donna to bridge Indigenous and non-Indigenous worlds. She specializes in Indigenous consultation and engagement, regulatory advisory, community-based research, project planning, and reconciliation action strategies.
